Edelya Silva, MS
Edelya Silva is a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University, training with an emphasis in pediatric behavioral health care. She has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults and is particularly interested in cognitive, academic, and diagnostic evaluation to better understand learning, attention, and neurodevelopmental functioning. Her doctoral training has provided a strong foundation in intellectual, achievement, and personality assessment, and she is eager to further develop her skills in comprehensive psychological evaluations.
Edelya values a collaborative, strengths-based approach to assessment, viewing the evaluation process as an opportunity to understand each individual's unique profile of abilities and challenges. She strives to provide clear, meaningful feedback that informs diagnosis, guides intervention, and supports clients, families, and schools in making informed decisions. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys collecting hobbies, thrifting, reading, and spending time with loved ones and her fur babies.
