Eva Wang, MA
Eva is a fourth-year Clinical Psychology PhD student at Palo Alto University. Her clinical and research interests include culturally responsive and trauma-informed care, psychological assessment, serious mental illness, and digital mental health. Eva has a background in marriage and family therapy and art therapy.
Her clinical experience spans a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospital, crisis residential treatment program, and university-based clinics, where she has provided care for clients across the lifespan. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) at a non-public school, providing therapy to children and adolescents with histories of trauma and socioemotional, neurodevelopmental, and behavioral challenges.
Eva is passionate about culturally responsive care and strongly believes in the importance of meeting clients where they are at. Originally from Taiwan, Eva has lived in California for the past 10 years. Her bicultural background has shaped her deep appreciation for cultural diversity and continues to inform her commitment to addressing disparities and promoting culturally informed mental health care.
