Bio
Rina Brown-Ono is a licensed mental health clinician and clinical associate at OpenWorld Psychology who works with neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults. She brings a developmentally informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy and assessment, with a focus on helping clients better understand their neurotype, build self-awareness, and navigate daily life in ways that align with their strengths and values.
As a neurodivergent clinician herself, Rina is particularly attuned to the importance of identity-affirming care. She strives to create a therapeutic environment that is respectful, collaborative, and grounded in each client’s lived experience.
Rina has experience working across a wide range of settings, including child development centers, autism-focused clinics, after-school programs, and community-based services. She provides individual, family, and group therapy and also serves as a psychometrist, supporting comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations under supervision.
