OpenWorld is a lifespan clinic. Child evaluations are available from age 2 and up, depending on the assessment type. Adult evaluations are also available. Switch to the Adult tab above to explore those options.
Most evaluations are completed within 3 to 6 weeks from intake to feedback. Autism evaluations may take 4 to 6 weeks. Your evaluator will give you a specific timeline during the initial consultation.
Yes. Your evaluator will build a unique testing plan during the initial consultation based on your child's needs, concerns, and history. No two evaluations look the same.
We accept ComPsych with pre-approval for assessments. Insurance is not accepted for IQ or giftedness-only evaluations. We provide superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Visit our billing page for more details.
At our Everett, WA location, families can add a speech-language evaluation or occupational therapy consultation to any assessment. These are provided by our Neurobloom partners and offer deeper insight into communication, daily living skills, and sensory needs. Each is a flat $880.
Ensure a good night's sleep and a healthy meal beforehand. Bring comfort items, glasses, or hearing aids if needed. We recommend framing it positively: "We are going to find out how you learn best so we can find activities that are a great fit for you."
