Celebrating Pride in Lake Stevens
This summer OpenWorld Psychology was proud to participate in Lake Stevens Pride, where our team sponsored a booth celebrating inclusion, visibility, and connection. Rina Brown-Ono, LMHC, and Cynthia Tamlyn, our Office Manager, represented OpenWorld with warmth, professionalism, and joy, engaging with community members, answering questions, and handing out materials about our services in Everett, WA.
As a queer-affirming practice, we believe that showing up matters. At OpenWorld, we strive to provide high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming mental health care while also stepping outside of the clinic to engage directly with the communities we serve. We understand that identity is intersectional, and our team is committed to creating spaces where all clients, especially those who are LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, or multiply marginalized, feel seen, respected, and supported.
Our Everett clinic, open since 2024, offers comprehensive psychological assessments, consultations, and therapy, and groups tailored to neurodivergent individuals and their families. We specialize in evaluating autism, ADHD, learning differences, and related concerns across the lifespan. In addition to working with private-pay clients, we also partner with selected Employee Assistance Programs (like Lyra and Spring Health) to improve access to affirming, high-quality care.
Whether we’re providing in-depth evaluations or showing up at community events like Pride, our goal is the same: to offer compassionate, evidence-based support rooted in respect and cultural humility.
A huge thank you to Cynthia’s husband Todd, who generously helped with booth setup and logistics this making our presence possible. We couldn’t have done it without you!
